Garden Oaks is a neighborhood just north of loop 610 and just north of the Heights. The area is set amidst mature pine and oak trees and features quiet, curving streets. The area lacks curbs, so open drainage, a lack of sidewalks and mature landscapping on large lots give the area a country feel.
In recent years, homes in Garden Oaks have been renovated, expanded and refinished. The area has been brought back to life with lots of TLC from new residents and old owners alike.
